I'm Dan, an author and game designer who loves rocket ships, dinosaurs, and monsters that skulk through shadows.

My stories have appeared in publications such as The Saturday Evening Post, Nature, and Nightmare Magazine. Other credits include games, comics, articles, and a series of critically acclaimed fantasy novels. 

I'm a joyful storyteller, whether that's running sessions of D&D, collaborating on a game jam, or working on a personal project.
